Personal identification information<\/span><\/h3>\n

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, (including, but not limited to the instances of) Users visiting our app\/site, registering on the app\/site, purchasing a resource, filling out a form, responding to a survey, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our platform. Users may be asked for, when necessary, information such as name, email address, mailing address and phone number.<\/span><\/p>\n

Users may, however, visit our app\/site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only when they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain app\/site-related activities and thus hamper their browsing experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

We may need your information to display the most suitable content for you on the App\/Site correctly.<\/span><\/p>\n

-To improve customer service:<\/span><\/p>\n

-To personalise user\u2019s experience and to improve:<\/span><\/p>\n

We may use information (such as your feedback and ratings) in the form of aggregated Big Data to analyse how our Users spend time on our platform, so that we can keep on improving and fine-tuning our App\/Site\u2019s features.<\/span><\/p>\n

-To process payments:<\/span><\/p>\n

We may use the information that Users put down when placing an order only to provide service to that order (i.e. to complete the whole transaction and purchase process, so that the Users can proceed to download the resources they want). We DO NOT share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accommodate the service.<\/span><\/p>\n

-To run a promotion, special scheme, contest, survey or other App\/Site feature:<\/span><\/p>\n

We shall keep ALL our users in the loop with any updates from our platform by pushing notifications via the SiL app, as well as through emails to those who have agreed to receive further information about topics which are of interest to them.<\/span><\/p>\n

-To send users their purchased resource files and periodic emails:<\/span><\/p>\n

We will use the User\u2019s email address to send the link to the resource he\/she has just bought, via which the User can download and access the file. For those Users who have opted in to receive e-newsletters from SiL, we will send\u00a0<\/span>relevant information and updates of the platform to them via email. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries and\/or other requests.<\/p>\n

How we shall protect your information:<\/span><\/h4>\n

We follow a structured routine and adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices as well as security measures to protect against unauthorised access, false alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, which includes your username, password, transaction information and data stored on our App\/Site.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sensitive and private data that exchange between the App\/Site and its Users shall take place over a secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with escalated security measures.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sharing your personal information:<\/span><\/h4>\n

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent Users\u2019 personal identification information to any third party companies. Third party websites<\/span><\/h3>\n

Users may find advertising or other content on our App\/Site that links to the Apps\/Sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on those sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our App\/Site. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing, and thus, it is entirely up to those sites when it comes to what type of content or update to put up. Do take note that these sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. The browsing and interaction on any other app\/website, including websites which have a link to our App\/Site, is subject to that website\u2019s own terms and policies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Payment Information<\/span><\/h3>\n

The whole payment procedure is to be carried out via Stripe. Stripe is a payment platform which is well-reputed for handling transactions and calculating tax incurred across different countries. By having Stripe integrated into our App, we allow users to securely input their data and payment information via Stripe\u2019s platform, where their details shall be stored there for the users\u2019 own record and future payment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Compliance with children\u2019s online privacy protection act<\/span><\/h3>\n

Protecting the privacy of the underaged is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our App\/Site from those we actually know are or might be underaged, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 18.<\/span><\/p>\n

Changes to this data + security policy<\/span><\/h3>\n

Sharing is Learning Ltd has the discretion to update this Data + Security Policy at any point of time. When we do, we will post a notification on the main page of our Site. We encourage Users to frequently check our policy for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You are acknowledging and agreeing that it is your responsibility to review this page periodically and be aware of any potential modifications.<\/span><\/p>\n

By using our App\/Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy as well as the whole Terms of Use of our SiL App<\/a> <\/strong>as well as the SiL Subject Tests<\/a> <\/strong>that we design and administer.
